Press release from: DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH

DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH has expanded its range of air law publications to include the digital English-language compilation “Airlaw eBook”, which contains European and international legal instruments.

The “Airlaw eBook” contains, for instance, the Chicago, the Warsaw and the Montreal Conventions, which are of major importance in aviation. The compilation also includes aviation-related European instruments, such as the EC Treaty, Conventions of the EU and the EC, Air Transport Agreements with third countries, EC Regulations, Implementing Rules and Directives.

The “Airlaw eBook” only contains English texts. It is, therefore, a useful tool for all legal practitioners, ministries, air transport companies, aviation-related organisations and users involved in European and international law. "Our aim is to provide users with a compilation of the major legal instruments," says sales manager Jan-Eric Putze.

The compilation is regularly updated ensuring users always have the current version of the texts. A full-text search helps find specific terms and subjects, and all documents can be printed out at the click of a mouse.

The “Airlaw eBook” is published by Aviaportal-Verlag together with the air law experts Professor Elmar Giemulla and Dr Heiko van Schyndel. Professor Giemulla is the President of AOPA Germany and teaches at the Technical University of Berlin and the Federal University of Applied Administrative Sciences. Mr van Schyndel is an attorney specialising in EC air law.

DFS is continuously expanding its range of legal publications. The portfolio includes a wide range of legal texts on aviation security and air navigation services, aviation personnel, JAR-FCL Requirements as well as the Acceptable Means of Compliance – Flight Crew Licencing. All publications can be ordered at www.dfs-aviationshop.de.
