The xyzmo Digital Seal: Security and Cost Reduction Online

For many companies, the potential of cost-saving is exhausted. However, possibilities to lower costs even massively are still offered in the online-area. Such an innovative solution, the xyzmo Digital Seal, was developed by the Austrian xyzmo GmbH.

The xyzmo Digital Seal allows that documents of all kind can be sent per email in a verifiable form, which is officially acknowledged by authorities and courts. That can be individual invoices or contracts, but also mass-shipments are possible without problems. The expenditures reduce to a few cents this way, since printing, paper, postage and handling are saved. Additional savings emerge in that the costly archiving is clearly reduced since no paper has to be stored anymore.

The system of the xyzmo Digital Seal is so secure, that the sent documents, like aforesaid, are fully acknowledged on the part of authorities and courts and are evidential in case of legal actions. Even on the long-term such sealed documents remain verifiable for years. The xyzmo GmbH confirms this through its motto that the (true) original is the IT-document and the print out is the first copy.

The application is absolutely simple, since the xyzmo Digital Seal can be implemented into any IT-structure without problems and without expenditure. The verifiable, sealed documents are generated on basis of an additional virtual printer as a pdf. Banks, Telecom-companies and other users already use the xyzmo Digital Seal far over Austria's borders and governments have expressed their interest for eGovernment-solutions. That is evidence for the high security standards and practicability of the xyzmo Digital Seal.

The xyzmo GmbH, located in Ansfelden, Austria, can look back on profound experiences, since it emerged from the Trodat GmbH, the world market-leader for self-colouring stamps. At 1st July 2004, the worldwide acknowledged stamp-manufacturer Trodat from Wels, Austria, constituted its fully owned subsidiary Trosoft. From its very first day, the business-objective consisted of the development and the distribution of visible, secure marking-technologies for the electronic traffic of documents.

After two-years of intensive research and development a standard setting product-family by range of functionality and user-friendliness was ready for the markets. With analogies to traditional and simple working processes, it was Trosoft’s target to make digital security as simple as usual signing or stamping.
On 22nd March 2006, the group of investors Real4You and Dr. Gerald Cäsar purchased 60% of Trosoft. Further shares are owned by the previous Managing Directors Thomas Pühringer (MA) and the engineer Walter Sieberer-Kefer.
Actually xyzmo® employs 30 co-workers and is represented in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, USA and South Africa.
