Lentech, Inc. to Provide Software Development and Data Center

Greenbelt, Md., May 24, 2018 — Lentech, Inc. began supporting NASA’s Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in March 2018 as part of the Kennedy Infrastructure, Applications, and Communications (KIAC) contract team. As a subcontractor to ASRC Federal Data Solutions, Lentech’s staff have primary responsibility for maintaining and improving the KSC Data Center (KDC), a state of the art data center that is a key component of KSC’s overall approach to supporting government and commercial users of NASA’s extensive spaceport assets. Future expansion through the development of cost efficient and effective cloud solutions is also anticipated over the life of the contract. In addition, Lentech staff provide software expertise in the development, maintenance and improvement of multiple tools and applications used across the spaceport’s central campus.

“We are honored to be teamed with ASRC Federal Data Solutions in support of NASA KSC and its spaceport vision”, stated Andrew Gallegos, Lentech’s CEO. “This work perfectly aligns with our vision of providing high end IT services and solutions for civil and defense customers and, combined with our existing space systems advisory, engineering, operations, and technical services, positions us for future expansion over the coming years.”
