Stauff expands weld fittings range
New model series for demanding applications, e.g. in power plantsWith the series FI-SNR and FI-ASV, Stauff expands the product range of Stauff Connect weld fittings. This connection technology is being replaced increasingly by easy-to-install forming systems, e.g. Stauff Form, in various applications. But it will still retain its place in the market in the future, especially in the demanding heavy industry and in power plant engineering.
As a full-range provider in the premium segment, Stauff is therefore developing this product range further: Two more model series are now available. The first one, with the designation FI-SNR, consists of 24° weld fittings with cone and O-ring. These allow users to adapt tubes through welding with a standard fitting body with a standard 24° inner cone, whereby the nominal size of the tube to be connected is smaller than that of the fitting body – therefore the reduction. This model series is available in the sizes 8/6L (Light Series) up to 30/25S (Heavy Series).
The second series, FI-ASV, is a straight weld fitting for tubes. It is supplied as a set consisting of weld cone, fitting body for welding and a conventional cap nut. This fitting connects two tubes with the same outer diameters, whereby welding is required at both ends. These fittings are available from the Heavy Series in the sizes 10S to 38S.
Just like the FI-SNR series, the fittings from the FI-ASV series are also supplied with phosphate coating, as this surface coating allows the components to be welded without any health risks. All other components (fitting bodies, cap nuts), however, feature the high-quality zinc/nickel coating which is standard for the Stauff Connect range.
With these two new model series, Stauff expands the standard catalogue range of weld fittings in the extensive Stauff Connect range, which previously already featured four different versions: straight bulkhead weld fittings, straight weld fittings, angled weld fittings and 24° weld cones with O-ring. Now, users can choose from six model series.

Indestructible: Stauff and Voswinkel components in agriculture
Superior resistance to aggressive substances
The use of components in agricultural machinery places high demands on the corrosion resistance of hydraulic line components, such as tube and hose connections and fasteners. They are not just exposed to usual weather and climate-related hazards, but frequently come into contact with particularly aggressive substances: with fertilizers containing phosphate or nitrogen, pesticides, cleaning concentrates, oils and other media.
