ECCO Shoes Oxford

High-street and online shoe retailer, ECCO Shoes Oxford, have introduced two new walking shoes to add to their already extensive range of high-performance outdoor footwear.

ECCO Shoes Oxford’s Online Manager, Hilary Fletcher, says, “The Terra VG and Rugged Terrain V aren’t just for climbing mountains. Premium walking boots like these are all-rounders that are ideal for walks in the countryside, splashing through puddles, basically anything you might wear wellies for.”

Hilary wants people to ditch their patterned wellies and turn to purpose-designed walking shoes instead. “There’s no support in wellies, so walking boots are ideal for protecting the ankle and giving the foot the support it needs on rough terrain. Wellies also make your feet sweat. A lot!”

The new ranges, Terra VG and Rugged Terrain V, have both walking shoes and walking boots for those who want more ankle support and use premium materials and the very latest technology has already made them the two best selling ranges at the Oxford store.

Made from yak leather for superior strength without rigidity, acclaimed Vibram soles and a Gore-tex membrane that makes each walking shoe completely waterproof yet breathable, the new ranges focus on comfort, durability and good looks.

Hilary comments, “People want walking shoes that can handle many terrains and all types of weather. ECCO has launched the Terra VG and Rugged Terrain V because they’re such great all-rounders. Hill-walking, taking the dog out, climbing mountains – the right footwear makes all the difference, and these two new ranges in the Oxford store combine all the latest thinking in walking shoes for a superior product.”
