The smart lens has inbuilt pliable, transparent electronic glucose monitor which can detect the glucose levels using tears of eyes. Moreover, in same year, Glasgow University developed a wearable sweat-monitoring sensor which uses pH levels of patient’s sweat. Furthermore, rapid advancements in smart-watches and smartphones will also propel the non-invasive blood glucose monitoring device market.
