Hopkinsville, KY—October 23, 2009— BedWood for Trucks is a first-time exhibitor at the 2009 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) trade show this November 3-6, 2009, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Although a first-time exhibitor, the company and its founder, Jeff Major, are not new to the aftermarket industry. BedWood for Trucks’ participation in this once-a-year automotive event is like an announcement of the lead it has taken in the custom bed wood niche. Bed Wood and Parts will display a selection of conventional BedWood sets and the RetroLiner™ kits (for late model trucks), and the new BedStrips™ will debut in the New Products competition.

BedWood for Trucks was founded in 2006 by Jeff Major, a truck and hot rod enthusiast. Major realized that restorers and customizers had often overlooked the wood beds that are commonplace in so many vintage and classic trucks. The wood beds occupy a large visual area on these vehicles, but precision-fit, easy to install kits were not available. Major crafted a complete line of BedWood kits that utilize computer-aided design (CAD) for that precision fit and offers them in a variety of domestic and exotic woods. "Through personal experience, I realized that a truck being restored or customized would benefit from precision-cut wood and quality fasteners.
