Brussels-Manchester - July 31st, 2006 - The Co-operative Group and Zetes (Euronext Brussels: ZTS) are pleased to announce that they have signed an agreement for the supply and implementation of Wireless Infrastructure, Mobile Computers and Voice Terminals into the Co-operative Group´s UK distribution centres.

This agreement will last for up to 5 years and cover the rollout into the estate of distribution centres operated by the Co-operative Group, the largest consumer co-operative in the UK. The first site, West Thurrock (circa 350,000 sq ft), is now operational.

Zetes works with "best of breed" hardware and software manufacturers to offer the most appropriate solution for its customers. For the Co-operative Group solution Zetes is working with Vocollect, Symbol Technologies, Zebra Technologies and Wavelink to deliver the chosen solution.

The solution is underpinned by the award winning Wireless Switch Infrastructure products from Symbol Technologies. Receiving and inventory functions within the warehouse are being performed using MC9000G Handheld computers. Reach truck activity utilises Truck Mount terminals also from Symbol Technologies.

Voice Picking is a large part of this project and is being implemented using hardware and software from Vocollect. The mobile device management is being co-ordinated by using Avalanche from Wavelink.
