The largest arms fair of the twentieth century
Afshin Rattansi's film gains unparalleled access to the defence industry while scaring the living daylights out of the viewer.
The short, sixteen minute film, which is available from various sources, including a reasonable quality streaming video version from his website (if you google Afshin Rattansi, you'll get to it).
The pre-9/11 documentary is prescient as it seems to show why a 9/11 is imminent. It was made in 1999 but looks to the increasing instability from Yugoslavia to Kashmir and shows how it is the massively subsidised international arms industry that both kills civilians rather than soldiers and catalyses conflict.
