Numerous Reasons A Major Earthquake May Mean ‘Mayday’ In Late May 2018 Says Expert Dr. Richard Ruhling

On this day designated to honor Charles Richter, inventor of the Richter Scale, Dr. Richard Ruhling reflects on an “85-99% risk” of a major quake in three years reported by seismologists in the LA Times 2 1/2 years ago.

Ruhling is an author on current events and Bible prophecy which he says offer a more precise timing for a major earthquake linked to the biblical end-times.

“The day of the LORD” is the end-time period and it’s linked to an earthquake in Joel 2, verse 10, and current events support “the day of the LORD” as impending according to Ruhling.

The prophet Zechariah said, “The day of the LORD comes.” He linked it to armies gathered against Jerusalem. The NY Times has reported “tens of thousands” of Muslim demonstrators on the Gaza border.

Christ warned, “when you see Jerusalem compassed with armies, know that its destruction is nigh” Luke 21, verse 20.

126 nations in the UN voted against President Trump’s plan to move the US embassy to Jerusalem, and Pres. Erdogan of Turkey called for 57 Muslim nations to siege Jerusalem, according to WorldNetDaily.

Ruhling says if there is destruction of Jerusalem, also suggested by the first sign in Matthew 24, that biblical end-times are starting and readers may expect a major earthquake to bring judgment to the US at the end of May.

He claims poor translation has misled Christians into believing no one will know when events that Christ spoke of will come. He explains the Greek word, eido, means be aware or understand.

Christ was telling his disciples that they didn’t understand, and each time he said it, he gave an example of Passover as a time of judgment, but in the 2nd spring month as it fit provisions in the law of Numbers 9 (verses 10,11) for a month later “as the days of Noah” when the Flood came in the 2nd spring month.

Ruhling says many Christians had expectancy for 2017, himself included, but he explains the Great Sign of Revelation 12—a rare convergence of planets and constellations points to this spring because of the 9-month imagery of pregnancy. The 9-month period also fits 2nd Passover timing.
