New Sales and Technology Location for Automotive Customers in the Detroit Region

Nuremberg, April 18, 2018 – From now on, Bühler Motor’s automotive customers in the Detroit Area can enjoy service that is even more direct. Bühler Motor’s new Sales and Tech Office in Farmington Hills, MI, is now open and can accommodate up to 16 employees. This office is a part of Buehler Motor, Inc., which is headquartered in Morrisville, NC.

Bühler Motor’s local Sales and Application Engineering team can make use of a fully equipped office and laboratory complex so that they can respond quickly to customer. Also Engineers can be pulled in at short notice, as required, from Bühler Motor’s European Headquarters in Nuremberg, their North American Technical Center in Morrisville, NC, or their Chihuahua plant in Mexico for extended local support.

Existing and new customers have commissioned us to carry out a wide range of new projects, for our bFlow C water pump family, for example, and our bFlow O transmission oil pump platform, and we will do everything we can to show that we are worthy of such trust”, emphasizes Peter Muhr, President & CEO of the Bühler Motor Group.

Development from a 2nd tier to a 1st tier supplier also played an important role in the choice of a new location. “As a direct supplier, we have an even greater obligation to the OEMs. Comprehensive support and competent customer care ensure not only that we respond quickly but also that problems are nipped in the bud as far as possible”, adds Mark Furtwängler, President & General Manager Buehler Motor Inc.

The location was officially opened on March 28 in the presence of a large number of key customers. The importance that Bühler Motor attaches to its new Sales and Tech Office is reflected by the presence not only of President & CEO Peter Muhr and President & General Manager Buehler Motor Inc., Mark Furtwängler but also of Director Product Segment Thermal & Emissions Dr. Sven Urlaub and the manager of the production plant in Chihuahua, Mexico, Cristina Sánchez.
