itelligence solution now supports rental and hire processes under SAP
Bielefeld, September 8, 2009 – The successful industry solution it.trade from itelligence has now been provided with a significant extension. With "Hire&Rental", rental and hire processes for dealers and manufacturers of technical goods can now be represented under SAP. The representation of rental processes ranges from the offer through to periodic settlement.
"Hire&Rental" provides a quick overview at all times with its "rental cockpit". This evaluation monitor allows different views with respect to capacity utilization, rent index and availability. The central control element is the "rental view" in order management. Available rental items for regional and time-related availability can be searched and selected via this view. Via a graphic calendar display, a fast assessment of availability and optimum selection of rental items is guaranteed. Settlement-related data is selected and stored in this view in addition to the rental item.
The hire of goods is a service of dealers and manufacturers that is becoming increasingly important in the value-added chain of these industries. Machinery, tools, restaurant equipment and technical equipment of all sizes are also rented and hired out in addition to the usual rental items such as construction machinery, containers and transportation equipment. Conventional retailers have, in particular, identified this new business opportunity and are providing an additional service for industrial business partners, tradesmen and consumers. "Hire&Rental" ideally combines these business activities with the SAP system.
