(openPR) - Berlin, August 2009 – Quality assurance gains in importance when developing automotive electronic components. Electronic control units have to fulfill more complex functionalities and have to be ready for production within a short time. By automatic tests a large amount of tests can be executed independent of working times and weekdays. They can be parameterized at will and are reproducible. Thus, the cause of error can be better analyzed.
IT Power Consultants (www.itpower.de) and Ingenieurbüro Brinkmeyer & Partner (IBB, www.ibbundpartner.de) have signed a cooperation agreement. Together they offer comprehensive services for automatic tests of automotive electronic control units.
IBB designs and produces test systems for quality assurance of electronic components which are used for example for automatic functional tests of control units, battery sensors and motors. IBB has been working for OEMs for many years and successfully accomplished various projects with famous suppliers.
IT Power Consultants linked the tool CTE XL, which is frequently used in the automotive industry, to the IBB test environments based on the VT System of Vector Informatik GmbH. Thus, test cases can be specified with CTE XL and afterwards used for the automatic test execution.
Moreover, IT Power Consultant offers operational and consultative support for systematic test case specification, test automation and test execution.
With IBB as partner IT Power Consultants offers all embracing test services: designing and producing test systems, taking care of the test system, systematic test specification and automatic test execution.
