Biometrix Int. Announces the fp-eLock Fingerprint Door Lock System with Log

(VIENNA, AUSTRIA, May 06) — Biometrix Int. ( www.biometrix.at ), a leading provider of biometric identification technology, announced the availability of the fp-eLock Door Lock System.

The fp-eLock Door Lock System consist of the fp-eLock Sensor-Unit as an external unit and the fp-eLock Access-Controller or the Mini-Controller as an internal unit.

The Sensor-Unit accept small-size, calloused, dirty, dry and wet fingers using the Atmel Thermal-Sweep-Sensor. The Sensor-Unit comes with an ABS plastic cover (IP65) fand is environment tolerance – the fingerprint reader can function both indoor and outdoor ... from -20°C to 45°C
Simple one-touch operation - no more keys, cards or PINs with the Industry’s fastest identification – the fp-eLock Door Lock System is therefore ideal not only for home security. Home door locks in one-family or multiple-family houses, public parking garages up to 9000 persons, companies up to 9000 employees. User friendly – no need for a PC or a technician for the operation of the system.

Apartments, houses, highly secure areas, safes, car ignition, weapons cabinets, etc. can be individually equipped with fp-eLock Sensor-Unit.
fp-eLock Sensor-Unit is an innovative fingerprint access reader offering unparalled performance for physical access control based on an embedded fingerprint module with a capacity of 9000 user and a log capacity of 12800 events. The fp-eLock Sensor-Unit also contains a PC interface and works stand-alone or in a RS485 network. A RTC backup battery and tamper switch are also included.

Only one or more fp-eLock Sensor-Unit´s (without Controller) connected to PC via RS232 or via RS485 network, a simple a time attendance can be created.

The fp-eLock Access-Controller has a build-in LCD display and a numeric keypad, offers Relay´s for one or two door´s mode and comes with metal case. A Mini-Controller is also available for simple purpose. With fp-eLock Door Lock System, it’s simple enough – just place your finger. fp-eLock Door Lock System comes with Windows BioAdmin Software for User-, Device-and Log-Data Management with up-and download of user data.
