||
| Pressemitteilung von: Destined for Success Management | ||
Dubbed the eco-athlete, Mughelli has been making strides live an environmentally friendly life and has been encouraging others, especially the children he works with, to do the same. He's partnered with eco-crusader, Lauren Turner on various projects and has made environmental issues a large part of his community outreach. He also participated in the 2009 Go Green Expo in Atlanta, GA. At this year's camp, recycling will be strongly encouraged and bins will be conveniently located throughout the space, the use of plastics will be limited, and reusable containers will be distributed. Furthermore, students will be given organic branded T-shirts to wear and their gift bags will be loaded with eco-friendly products. Plus, Mughelli will be working with the kids to focus on everyday ways they can help save their environment. There will be games, such as "Environmental Jeopardy," and seminars that focus on green living. Local high school coaches will join Mughelli and other NFL players, such as Daniel Wilcox, Jason Snelling, Roddy White and Willie Whitehead, to demonstrate skills and encourage attendees' improvement. Sponsors include Primary Organics Medicine, Jaden’s Ladder, City of North Charleston, Trident Black Pages, Citadel Communications, Tuwa Elements of the Earth, Bojangles’, Alive Expo, West Ashley OB/GYN Garrett Academy of Technology, Charleston County Community Education, Charleston County Food Services, Charleston Sign and Banners, Homewood Suites- Hilton and Velocity Sports. The camp will be held July 17th and 18th at Garrett High School in North Charleston, SC.
