| Pressemitteilung von: FabulaTech | ||
“We have been working hard on this version to implement all possible requests from our users. The program is really easy to handle. It consists of a Server and a Workstation. Workstation is installed on the computer to which the USB device is physically plugged (usually it's Thin Client computer). Server should be installed on the remote side to which you are logging in. Once you are logged into remote Windows session, your local USB devices appear on the remote side”, said Alan Rourke, FabulaTech Technical Director. “The solution supports a wide range of USB devices and does not require any special knowledge”. USB for Remote Desktop is available also as OEM. It is possible to redistribute it as integral part of your hardware or software solution. Developer API allows to configure and control USB for Remote Desktop from one’s own software. The program is ideal solution for the following areas: - Virtual Desktops. It's possible to use USB devices from virtual environment. USB devices connected to a host PC become visible from guest OS in virtual machine. - Thin clients. USB devices being plugged to Windows XP, Linux or Windows CE Thin Client appears in remote Windows session (RDP or Citrix ICA). - Terminal Services and Citrix. Use universal USB redirection solution for both Microsoft Terminal Service and Citrix, either over ICA or over RDP. - Blade computing. Work with any USB device as if it were directly connected to remote blade computer. A wide range of USB devices supported, the program is available for Windows, Linux and Windows CE.
