The global corporate radar maybe marked by economic blues, market downsides and impending recession, but not Dot Com Infoway's. Recently, Dot Com Infoway conducted a campus drive at Fatima College, Madurai and recruited several candidates. Given the company's penchant for young and fresh talent, the recruitment drive was a huge success, marked by participation of around 150 students.
In such a grim scenario, one would rarely expect any company to push forward its expansion agenda or recruitment drive. But Dot Com Infoway is different. It is doing what many corporate empires dread to do - hiring young talent. Yes! Recently, the company's HR team conducted a campus drive program at Fatima College, one of Madurai's reputed institutions, and hired several freshers for many of its departments.
It was both a professional and a jocular campus drive program as Dot Com Infoway's HR team made the recruitment process innovative and interesting. Aptitude tests, group discussions and one-to-one interactions were the highlights of the resource-pooling process. The candidates were measured based on their penchant for IT, communication skills and academic background.
Out of the 150 participants, 75 were shortlisted and 7 have been recruited. The new recruits, all of them with sound academic profiles and acute interest in IT, will be joining the company's Madurai office soon.
