Rewarding Scottish Open Source |
| Pressemitteilung von: Scottish Open Source Awards |
| (openPR) - The 2008 Scottish Open Source Awards is now open for nominations. As we talk around we are hearing of Open Source initiatives in Scotland that are outside of the seen Open Source community. It would be great to draw some of these projects out into the open, and celebrate the hard work that has gone into them. In 2007, the first year of the Awards, we presented the Scottish Open Source Excellence Award to joint winners: J P Morgan, and Enterprise Management Consulting. Thank you to everyone who entered the Awards. We would be delighted to hear from you all again. This year we want to encourage entries from anyone involved in the Open Source space, young or old, commercial, student, or otherwise. New this year will be the Scottish Open Source Generations Award (18-30s). The closing date is 14th November, 5.00pm. We will once again be presenting the Awards in partnership with the Scottish Software Awards at the Radisson SAS in Glasgow, on Friday 28th November 2008. For further information please visit: www.scottishopensourceawards.co.uk Supported by: Open Source Scotland; Valley Technology, Edinburgh; Dan Shearer, Edinburgh; SalesAgility, Denny.
