In October, 2008, the doors will officially open! The Montesino, a “Pokertainment Center” covering no less than 1,800 sq.m. (19,375 sq.ft.). Located in Vienna’s Gasometer, this entertainment center is complete with Card Casino, Restaurant, Sportsbar, Betting Lounge and Poker School.
The Montesino Card Casino has 42 tables offering world-class, round-the-clock fun and poker action. Daily tournaments are on the schedule to satisfy all tournament players, and in a variety of buy-ins for Texas Holdem, Omaha and even Seven Card Stud. Naturally, those who prefer fast play are also accommodated with Sit & Go tournaments of a range of buy-in levels on the daily schedule.
Call, Raise or Fold? In the Montesino Poker School, budding poker stars can learn how to handle cards and the basics of the game. Even experienced players can improve their luck by taking part in effective strategy seminars.
When a culinary treat is in order, players and guests alike can expect the best in Austrian and international cuisine in Montesino’s Restaurant. The adjacent Montesino Sportsbar, with its spacious and inviting terrace, expands the menu as well as the gaming action. Finally, regular shows and events in the Montecino Entertainment Center add the right touch of Las Vegas and sex appeal.
