AIESEC in Malaysia, University of Malaya (AIESEC in UM) recognizing the pressing need for human capital education across all sectors, took a step to provide a 24/7 Digital Resource Centre with its recent Memorandum of Understanding with LTT Global Communications Sdn Bhd to power human capital development through education.
Today, education is evolving as a result of the combination of open source technology, the Internet, mobile and multi-faceted devices and use of innovative technology in the education sector, is making education more individualized, customized and accessible to everyone, said Wemel Cumavoo, co-founder and CEO, LTT Global.
He added, organisations need an educated workforce to compete effectively in today’s competitive global economy. Today's employees require specialized knowledge and skills to adapt with fast paced changes in the workplace and with AIESEC in UM’s Digital Resource Centre, students have access to learning on the go that is crucial to their success.
AIESEC in UM partnered LTT Global to offer to their members a learning platform where one is able to access thousands of digital resources to learn new things and up-skill. Our members will be MyMobileUni Ambassadors and tasked to impact lives through education by knowledge sharing activities both online and offline, said Ho Jun Yung, Vice President of Business Development.
Bernadine Francis, President, AIESEC in UM said, LTT Global will also arrange talks for members of AIESEC in UM on a variety of industry relevant topics as part of their skills development program. The partnership is uniquely positioned to help one get out in front of the challenges of globalization and make a meaningful difference by reinventing the way of learning to help one remain industry relevant and globally competitive.
We are happy to that through this partnership we are able to power United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals 1, 3, 4, 8, 9 and 11 which is crucial to build a better world, she added.
