(openPR) - Katherine Jaeger, Chief Marketing Officer and Training Director for Americana Community Bank, was appointed to the Graduate School of Banking (GSB) Banker Advisory Board on August 1, 2008.

Established in 1945, the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, provides advanced bank management education to more than 19,000 financial services professionals nationwide. The GSB Banker Advisory Board is comprised of senior banking professionals who have a desire to help support and improve the School and who have demonstrated strong participation in national, regional, or state banking meetings and activities.

In her role, Jaeger will represent GSB at national, regional and local banker association functions, as well as assist GSB in its marketing efforts for all banker education programs, provide GSB with useful “consumer” insights and suggestions for program enhancements, and help coordinate GSB alumni events. Board members are appointed by the GSB President and serve a three-year term, renewable for a second term at the discretion of the President.

“I am honored to be a new member of the GSB Banker Advisory Board,” said Katherine Jaeger, Chief Marketing Officer and Training Director, Americana Community Bank. “As a graduate of GSB, I’m really looking forward to speaking with prospective students and encouraging current students in their completion of this valuable program.”
