GROWTH DRIVES MANCHESTER MOVE FOR WOODLAND

Pressemitteilung von: Woodland International Transport
(openPR) - Woodland International Transport Co. – one of the UK’s leading independent freight forwarders – has moved into new premises in Manchester, in response to continued expansion.

The Manchester office provides the full range of logistics services available from Woodland, including transport services by road, sea and air, as well as supply chain logistics, inventory management and other specialist services, and has recently experienced significant growth in ocean freight and air freight imports and exports.

Kinga Garner, who has led the Manchester team since 2006, remains branch manager.

The new contact details are:
Woodland International Transport Co. Ltd, Unit 3, Building 311, World Freight Terminal, Manchester Airport, Manchester, M90 5TE. Tel: 0161 498 8555; Fax: 0161 498 8666; Email: Kinga.Garner@woodlanduk.com

Commenting on the move, Kinga Garner said: “I’m pleased to report healthy growth for Woodland’s services in the North West, necessitating a move to larger premises in Manchester. Our new premises allow us to de-van our own containers and the new facility is ideal for the handling of aircraft pallets for air imports and exports.”

In separate news, Peter Wilkinson has been promoted to branch manager of Woodland’s Newcastle office.

Woodland is headquartered in Coggeshall, Essex and has offices at London Heathrow, in Birmingham, Hull, Newcastle, as well as the Republic of Ireland and the United States.

The Woodland Group offers a full range of multimodal transportation services, including freight forwarding by air, ocean and road. This year, the company celebrates its 20th year of trading.
