Four nGize eSports players nominated for EPS XII Awards 2008
As the highest award for the Most Valuable Player (MVP), Thomas Vander “Vander” represents nGize eSports. The Star player, titled as Rookie of the Season last time, deserves to be nominated in this category for his increasing performance. Two players from nGize eSports are in the race to become the successor for Thomas Vanders, present Rookie of the Season. On the one hand it is Damian “Poleone” Jasiczek, who turned out to be a major player in his first ESL Pro Series season and also placed 1st in the World Cyber Games qualification. In addition Soeren “BuBu” Soetebeer applies to the glorious title. Even for him, it was the first Pro Series season, where he gave a solid support to the team and played a magnificent season.
In addition, the upcoming player André “Andreson” Richter (comes from league rivals POD) is nominated for the Most Improved Player (MIP).
For nGize eSports CEO Christian the nominees are a very satisfying outcome of the long season. “Even though we’ve just missed 4th place in the season, the EPS Awards are excellent performance in evidence. I am pleased for our players who have developed outstanding and entitled to the best in Germany. The nominations are a proxy for the entire team, which harmonizes beautifully and aims even higher goals next season.”

Founder Christian Funk is a former professional FIFA player who has played for famous German teams like Team64 AMD, DkH, and eSports-United. After his career as a professional player, he wanted to create something new. The idea of the new gaming clan – nGize was born.
nGize should be a unique eSports clan, with the focus on eSports and lifestyle with a positive and dynamic presentation. The name nGize is formed from the verb “to energize” and the noun “energy“ – in addition to this, the logo underlines the idea of the clan and transports the unique image of the clan. The nGize character underlines the creativity, fun, and sports of our players and members.
Since the founding on 01. February 2006 nGize has established itself as one of the fastest growing eSports label. During this short period of time we qualified for Europe’s most important online league, the ESL Pro Series with three teams (Counter Strike:Source, Counter-Strike 1.6 Switzerland and FIFA).
Our passion is professional gaming at the highest level, as our slogan “eSport aus Leidenschaft!” (engl.:“eSports with passion!”) underlines perfectly.
