HERMOSA BEACH SOCCER CLUB’S PREMIER DIVISION FINISHES RUNNER-UP |

| Pressemitteilung von: Hermosa Beach Soccer Club | ||
After finishing the regular season with an overall record of 11-4-3, HBSC entered the tournament with momentum and a strong side. Despite their victory, injuries and ejections took their toll on HBSC in the Tournament’s semi-final match. “We knew we would make it to the final. There was no question. We also knew we would meet Fram in the final. What we did not expect was to take the hit we did. Rather than entering the match with the edge, both teams were evenly matched. Fram did a good job of maximizing its home field advantage,” said Jesse Torres, HBSC Founder. “It was not the result I hoped for but our boys played great and showed why these two teams rank as two of the best elite teams in Los Angeles.” “Though we did not get the win, I am extremely pleased with our team. Both teams scored their goals early in the game and the score could have easily been reversed. This was a battle and both teams left everything on the field,” said Brian Dragich, HBSC President and Premier Team player. “Our runner-up finish by no means diminishes our success this year. We’ll take a short summer break, spend some time on the beach and return in the fall focused and ready.” The Hermosa Beach Soccer Club extends its gratitude to its generous 2007/2008 sponsors: Del Amo Construction (DelAmoConstruction.com), Elliott/Drinkward Construction (ElliottDrinkward.com), TomatoBank, N.A.
