(openPR) - Young Germany, the English language website for "high potentials", is launching an interactive Berlinale special in the run up to the Transmediale and the Berlin International Film Festival.

The special will provide users with background information about the Berlinale. It will present information about film schools and the film industry in Germany. It will feature interviews with young filmmakers, e.g. the German Oscar-winner Florian Gallenberger. And it will offer users the chance to discuss German films in the forum. www.young-germany.de/forum.html

At the same time Young Germany is looking for individual snap shots of Germany. All users are invited to email their photos with a short description. Entries can be sent to team@young-germany.de. They will be presented in a gallery on the www.young-germany.de website.

The website is a joint project of the German Federal Foreign Office’s Internet division and the Societäts-Verlag publishing house in Frankfurt am Main. The broad, up-to-date mix of topics will be complemented by offerings for those who come to Germany for work or education. Interactive services provide help searching for a job, an apartment and making first contacts. In addition, a forum offers a communication platform to all who are interested in Germany.

Young Germany is an Internet partner of large German organizations, such as the Goethe-Institute, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Helmholtz Association and many others. The F.A.Z.-Hochschulanzeiger, jobstairs.de and wg-gesucht.de are also among Young Germany’s partners.
