PSI Presents New Product Developments at the Leading Trade Fair Energy

For energy providers, PSI will be presenting new developments of the PSIcontrol control system on the basis of project examples. Along with extensive control technology functions for managing large supply networks, in some cases cross-divisional in an alliance, examples of the integrated functions for the support of failure processing and preparation of reports for the VDN interruption statistics in the network control system will also be demonstrated.
In addition, PSI will, together with representatives of the Russian partner OAO NOVINTECH, present the Russian electricity control system. PSI AG and NOVINTECH were charged by a major Russian energy provider with the implementation of five decentralized PSIcontrol control systems for the RSKs of the MRSK MRSK Center and Volga Region southeast of Moscow.
In the field of gas logistics PSI will be presenting current solutions for the operative business. New functions in the network control system PSIcontrol V7 as well as PSIganesi, the gas network simulation which has been completely integrated into PSIcontrol V7, will be presented. In the online operation, the simulation core PSIganesi is the basis for the forecasting of the gas network behavior under special conditions, for the transparency of the network in emergency situations and for TÜV-certified leak monitoring. The network and capacity planning is determined with the PSIganesi planning system. The PSIreko und PSIganproda solutions, which are also based on the PSIganesi simulation core, reconstruct the gas properties in the network and serve as the basis for invoicing. These PSI standard solutions with official certification have become important for the gas suppliers. The increasing addition of biogases requires the determination and tracking of gas properties in the gas network.
The regulation of the German gas market has led gas suppliers to an intensive cooperation. The business processes are being continuously adapted on the basis of the established market model (dual-contract model). The implementation of new regulations in increasingly shorter periods of time is necessary. To meet these requirements PSI has developed the solutions PSItransport, PSItransact and PSIcomcentre. Transport managers, network operators, storage operators and traders employ these solutions, amongst others, for the handling of booking processes, capacity management and consolidation group management,
The use of PSI solutions for technical and commercial business processes allow companies to work successfully in the highly competitive gas market. The solutions are modular and scaleable. PSI integrates the modules into every existing IT environment.
