i:FAO publishes cytric V7 Version 7.7 New cytric Release: Hotel Search Near Company Locations

Frankfurt, 23 November 2007. cytric now helps business travellers find the right hotel even faster. The latest cytric release 7.7 (active from 18 November) allows business travellers to enter company locations in the hotel search and display automatically all hotels in a radius of 7.5 km.
The most recent release also optimises cytric’s rental car booking options. Addresses for delivery and pick-up of rented cars can be individually entered by each user.
From now on, cytric users can also fly for less: The pre-booking of baggage when making a booking with a low-fare-airline has been integrated, since low-fare airlines usually offer fee reductions for pre-booked baggage. The air functionality of the program has also been improved when booking for several travellers as well as for multi leg journeys.
cytric has also expanded the approval procedure for business trips in the new release. The online tool now features an enhanced approval process at user level. This means that there is no longer a single authorised person per site or department, but individual authorised approvers can be entered for each user. This is of interest for those companies still requiring approval for business trips or when operating in countries where corporate approval is a legal requirement, for example in the Czech Republic.
The import of offline booking data into cytric has also been enhanced in the newest release. When travel agents also include e.g. information about cost centres and project numbers in offline bookings, these contents are now also displayed in cytric. Benefit: cytric’s reporting is even more accurate.
cytric release 7.7 in addition includes revisions to optimise synchronisation of the e-procurement application with other corporate systems.
