(openPR) - Berlin, September 28, 2007 - datango AG will be receiving the Technology Fast 50 Award this year in Germany from Deloitte, the international auditing and consulting firm that ranks the fastest growing technology companies. The award substantiates datango´s accelerated course of expansion. The company is headquartered in Berlin and a globally active provider of eLearning technology and Electronic Performance Support. The awards ceremony will take place on the 10th of October 2007 at the Palais im Zoo in Frankfurt.

The Technology Fast 50 Award initiated in the USA expanded five years ago to include Germany. Deloitte uses the prize to honor the rising stars of the technology sector for their rapid growth. Participants can be producers from the industry segments communications/networking, internet, computer/peripherals, life sciences, to software and new technologies (nano or solar technology for instance). Qualification factors average sales growth for the preceding five business years (2001-2006). Also a substantial share of revenue must have been generated from company-developed technology and considerable investment has to have been made in its research and development. Other criteria are competitive position, management and company culture and financial performance indicators.
