FIBA Europe, the European Basketball Association had its microfilm stock digitalised by DRS.
FIBA Europe no longer needs to have a microfilm reader around but still has access to approx. 1,000 microfilm jackets with documents from the years 1957 to 2000.
DRS digitalised approx. 35,000 documents within a few hours and supplied them to the customer as grey scale images.
An index system implemented by customer request allows FIBA Europe quick EDP access to the desired documents.
