(openPR) - Awafi Festival will be organized for the third continuous year from 11th of January until 27th of January 2006 in Awafi one of the most famous desert resort in the Emirate Ras Al Khaimah, approximately 90 km far from Dubai in United Arab Emirates.

Awafi Festival combines a heritage and culture program with special desert off-road competitions and other attractive sport and entertainment shows.

This festival is organized by RAK Economic Department and the main sponsor is Etisalat, the Emirates Telecommunication Corporation.
