Scottish Open Source Awards 2007 Welcomes Sun Microsystems as Main Sponsor |

| (openPR) - The Scottish Open Source Awards (SCOSA) officially announces that Sun Microsystems are the main sponsors for the 2007 event. Greg Soper, for SCOSA 2007, said, “We're delighted. This is the inaugural year of the awards and to be supported by a company with the reach and depth of Sun Microsystems is fantastic. We look forward to a mutually rewarding association.” The Scottish Open Source Awards opened on the 1st August 2007 for nominations. The awards are open to business, government, education, not-for-profit, charities and students, who contribute to or use Open Source Software or services. Nominations are invited for any Open Source project developed in Scotland and or by a Scot or team of Scots outside of Scotland.
