The multichannel commerce market leader opens US representation – zanox board member takes on the management duties

(openPR) - Berlin/Chicago, 22 September 2005 – As of immediately, zanox, the Berlin-based European market leader for performance-based multichannel commerce, serves the US market with its own subsidiary located in Chicago. zanox CFO and COO Heiko Rauch, will head all US business activities. This on-site presence will strengthen zanox in the entire north-American region and is part of its global positioning strategy.

Current market data supports this optimistic assessment. According to Jupiter, US online turnover will grow by 25% in 2006 to US$103.3 billion. Today the US market already accounts for around half the world’s e-commerce turnover.

zanox will also draw on its internationally structured business model for the US. The opening of the US subsidiary will be accompanied by several events:

- 7-9 November: Stand 29 at the ad:tech in New York
- 8 November: zanox Academy with a specific premium affiliate focus in the Hilton, New York
