Shane Drake Set to Judge RockSTAR Music Education's Battle of the Bands |

As a qualified celebrity judge, he will get to experience young, new talent in a remarkable musical face-off at Universal CityWalk, where over 300 child musicians (over 50 bands) compete for title of the Ultimate RockSTAR. RockSTAR’s Battle of the Bands celebrates the Hard Rock Cafe’s Founder’s Day, commemorating the 36th anniversary of the first Hard Rock Cafe opening in London. The event will be co-hosted by magician Justin Kredible and Gretchen Bonaduce. Among Shane Drake, judges for the contest include: • Chris Slade – Drummer for AC/DC, Tom Jones, Jimmy Page, Pink Floyd, Paul Rodgers, among others. • Gerry Brown “The Gov” – Has engineered/produced some of the music biz’s best known artists, with over 42 Platinum and Gold Records and five Grammy nominations. • Sabrina Sloan – American Idol Season 6 finalist • Efren Ramrez – Star of Napoleon Dynamite • Liza Snyder – Christine Hughes on the CBS sitcom “Yes, Dear.” • Willie Herath – Singer/songwriter “Coghie Never Landed” “Nothing beats being a part of altruistic events for children.
