Builder of Trade Show Displays Offers Free Webinar on Key Trade Show Marketing Lessons

(openPR) - ST. PAUL (April 28, 2012) – Skyline Exhibits, designer and builder of trade show booths, is again hosting a popular webinar called, “10 Things I Wish I Knew Before I Started Exhibiting.” The free webinar will take place on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. |
“Exhibiting is a fairly complex marketing medium,” said Michael Thimmesch, Director of Industry Relations for Skyline Exhibits. “Exhibiting requires the coordination of many different areas to succeed. However, there are too often key areas that get overlooked at the exhibitor’s peril. In this webinar, we highlight those important areas that exhibitors must succeed at to generate better trade show results.”
Trade show marketers who are present at this webinar will learn about design for trade show displays, unspoken expectations about trade shows, trade show budgets, booth staffing, lead management, and more.
The live webinar, which is divided between a 30-minute presentation and 30 minutes of Q&A, gives exhibitors the chance to both learn and ask about trade show marketing best practices.
The webinar will be presented by two trade show industry veterans, Michael Thimmesch and Christy Moore:
• Michael Thimmesch is the Director of Industry Relations for Skyline Exhibits, with over 20 years trade show and marketing experience. Mike has presented about trade show marketing at TS2, HCEA, and Exhibitor Show. Mike also writes for the Skyline Trade Show Tips blog and has lead Skyline’s social media efforts for the last 3 years.
• As a Project Manager for Skyline for the last 7 years, Christy Moore has helped manage hundreds of complex, large-scale exhibit build projects for such noteworthy companies as Bally Technologies, Availon, and Express Logic. She was also the tour manager and promoter for Sesame Street Live, and did public relations for 5 years for the East Coast Hockey League. Christy has a BBA from East Tennessee State University. You can always count on Christy to think fast and problem solve with ease.
