(openPR) - April 12, 2012 (St. Louis) – The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan St. Louis welcomes Carlos Izcaray, renowned Opera and Orchestra conductor, as the keynote speaker at the annual Adelante Awards, held Friday, April 27 at the Sheraton Westport Lakeside Chalet Hotel.

The Hispanic Chamber is celebrating its 30th year and the Adelante Awards recognize the achievements of individuals, entrepreneurs and corporations in the metro St. Louis Area.

Izcaray is a prize winning, Spanish-Venezuelan conductor who has received accolades throughout Europe, North and South America. Recognized by the international press, he is widely known as one of today’s most outstanding young conductors.

Incorporated on April 28, 1982, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan St. Louis strives to promote the economic development of Hispanic-owned businesses and improve business opportunities for all in the St. Louis region.
