Since then, Vivid Racing’s mission has been to align themselves with those companies that make only the highest quality aftermarket car parts for a variety of Import European and domestic performance automobiles.
Here are five of the businesses that are incorporated into the VR formula:
J’s Racing was started in Osaka, Japan in 1989, and J’s Racing USA was established in 2011 as a 100% owned subsidiary of J’s Corporation to promote sales and provide customer service to those in North America. Their expertise is in enhancing Hondas and Acuras with parts that are tested on actual racetracks and courses. Vivid Racing carries their Honda fit exhausts, Acura TSX coilovers, and S2000 aero components, just to name a few.
MXP (Mackin Extreme Products) is the brand for Mackin Industries, based in Santa Fe Springs, California, with more than 30 years in the industry. It is a USA importer of Volk and Advan wheels and also features stylish exhaust components for the most popular tuner cars. At VR you can find their cat-backs for the GTR, M3, EVO X STI, and more.
Lorinser = Mercedes-Benz luxury tuning. In the 1970s, Manfred Lorinser started customizing Mercedes-Benz vehicles as requested by his clients. In 1981 Sport Service Lorinser GmbH was founded to focus on developing complete tuning solutions. Packages at VR include front bumpers, rear bumpers, side skirts, and trunk spoilers. Also offered are aero packages, exhaust systems, and decorative exterior pieces.
Hans Performance Products out of Atlanta, GA created the Hans Device, which reduces head movement in case of a collision, minimizing the risk of injury to the head and neck. Designed in 1981 by Dr. Robert Hubbard after several skull injury deaths in race car driving, this head restraint is secured with the body of the driver and not the seat. VR carries a variety of Hans helmet attachments, such as collars, tether kits, and anchors.
Brian Crower, Inc. in El Cajon, California was created to deliver high quality internal engine components at affordable prices. Brian previously worked in the family business of Crower Cams & Equipment, heading up the Crower Sport Compact division. Complete packages are designed to work together to deliver more horsepower and torque along with reliability. VR carries their stroker kits, pistons, camshafts, and connecting rods. VR also worked with them on a Porsche 99TT stroker motor.

Vivid Racing is a multi-million dollar small business in the automotive aftermarket industry. They have been featured in almost every magazine about their business and cars they have built. Rob and Dan have competed in 3 Gumball 3000 events, Bullrun Rally, and featured on ESPN2's "Import Racer" TV show. Vivid Racing has also built several demo cars including some for Pepsi/Mazda and Cusco/Subaru.
