First Hurricane Dockside Grill™ to Open in Tavares
Tavares, FL (July 29, 2011) – Hurricane Grill & Wings® is excited to announce it will open its first Hurricane Dockside Grill on July 29th, 2011. The brand acquired the JJ Fins Dockside restaurant located on the banks of the Dead River in Tavares in June. A first of its kind, the Hurricane Dockside Grill will infuse several of its traditional Hurricane Grill & Wings menu items, including their award-winning jumbo sized chicken wings and 32 original sauces, incorporating into existing elements from JJ Fins’ such as its raw bar items, steaks, pizza and seafood. In addition to the family-friendly restaurant, the property also features a volleyball court, 23 boat slips and a paddle boat. Banquet facilities are also available for catering events and functions.
The August 11th Grand Opening celebration will include exciting events such as a Pig Roast Beach Party with live entertainment, volleyball tournament, Ridiculously Hot Wing Eating contest, raffles, giveaways, ribbon cutting ceremony, drink and food specials, a charitable donation to the Boys & Girls Club and much more.
