was the slogan that was clearly to be seen on the T-shirts of the GiS stand personnel. This offer was taken up almost immediately by the visitors. The interest that was generated by the exhibited products exceeded all expectations.
The main focus of the show was as expected, tex.ident®, a modular laundry identification system. Through that, the visitors were also able to discover the many advantages of the GiS sorting shelf, the laundry software and the flexible transponders that were also on display. As usual, quite a few exhibition visitors were impressed with the bulk reading functionality of the GiS technology, where all transponders that are present in a laundry bag for example, could be read simultaneously in a fraction of a second.
It should also be noted however, that laundry identification using RFID is not the only point of interest when it comes nursing homes. Other RFID solutions like supervision of disoriented people found just as much interest, together with the idea of identifying dishes and kitchen accessories using transponders.
