SLOPESTYLE SPANISH-STYLE AT THIS WEEKEND’S TTR THREE(3)STAR GRANDVALIRA TOTAL FIGHT

Located in the Stadium Park of Grandvalira, the 3rd edition of the Grandvalira Total Fight: Masters of Freestyle gets ready to welcome 30 invitational riders plus up to 70 qualifiers to a Slopestyle/Big Air mixed format. With qualifiers and expression session Finals taking place Saturday 31st March, 550 TTR Ranking Points and 10,000euro prize purse are the winning goods.
Iker Fernandez (SPA), Daniel Sastre (SPA), Marc Salas (SPA), Facundo Huarriz (ARG), & brothers Fran & Nico Natalucci (ARG) are amongst the Spanish-speaking riders present. Top European and international names include Martin Cernik (CZE), Pacome Allouis (FRA), Rudi Kroell (AUT), Jaakko Ruha (FIN), Davide & Gian Luca Buvoli (SUI), Nicky Wieveg (SWE) & Quentin Robbins (NZE). Christian Haller (SUI) currently TTR World Nr 15 could improve his standings on the TTR Ranking List by Swatch with a 2nd place result or higher. This will be Haller’s (SUI)10th result on the tour this season.
Post-crowning the TTR Tour Champions, the calendar continues through to the end of April 2007. All TTR contests attended until then will provide riders with TTR Ranking Points for the 06/07 TTR Ranking List presented by Swatch to add to their overall ranking score until May 01st, 2007.

Founded by Terje Haakonsen and industry innovators in 2002, the Ticket To Ride (TTR) World Snowboard Tour is a non-profit, rider-driven organisation that aims to represent the progression of snowboarding. To create a clear rookie-to-pro structure, the TTR World Snowboard Tour is based on global grass root and key independent freestyle snowboarding events. Events are rated via a 1-through-6 Star system, with points allocated accordingly, a 6 Star event holding the highest. Any rider participating in these events, from up-and-coming to professional, will earn TTR Ranking Points and a position on the TTR Ranking List presented by Swatch. The top male and female rider is crowned Ticket To Ride (TTR) World Snowboard Tour Champion.
