Apriso Reports 2010 Software Revenue Growth of 62 Percent on Year-Over-Year Basis

Company completes fifth consecutive year of revenue growth

LONG BEACH, CA – (February 9, 2011) — Apriso, a leading provider of software solutions for sustained manufacturing operational excellence, today announced total revenues for 2010 set a new company record, led by software revenue growth of 62 percent on a year-over-year basis.

As the fifth consecutive year of total revenue growth, 2010’s record growth was achieved by expanding license revenues from existing Manufacturing Execution System deployments and by adding 17 new customers. Growth occurred in the Americas, European and Asia Pacific regions, with the America’s expansion the most pronounced. New customers were acquired in the automotive, aerospace & defense, cleantech, industrial & heavy equipment, consumer goods, packaging and medical device industries.

Customer Activity
A total of 17 new customers chose Apriso to help manage and continuously improve their global manufacturing operations in 2010, including Tesla Motors, as announced September 8. Apriso now serves over 200 global manufacturing clients. During the second half of 2010, a total of 21 customer sites went live with new FlexNet applications, including NGK Spark Plug, as announced October 12. A total of 44 go-lives occurred in 2010, a new company record. Greater efficiency within Apriso’s professional services group and partners from advanced capabilities of FlexNet 9.5 has helped to accelerate the go-live process, resulting in greater deployment capabilities.

Product Updates
At the end of June, Apriso announced the release of FlexNet 9.5 with advanced blueprinting and prototyping capabilities and new user interfaces for greater productivity and flexibility. This significantly enhanced version of Apriso’s FlexNet represents the next generation of Business Process Management (BPM) for manufacturers, and has been well received by Apriso’s customers during the second half of 2010. As an example, one new customer went live in 3½ months for a very complex installation.

In December, Apriso announced a “reinvention” of maintenance management, with the launch of FlexNet Maintenance 2.0, a new solution that helps to improve asset utilization and reduce costs by synchronizing maintenance processes with manufacturing operations for greater uptime and agility. According to Hitachi Computer Products (America), Inc., FlexNet gives them “a more complete look at what has happened to a piece of equipment, contributing to increased efficiency and improved uptime.”

Awards
Apriso’s customers continue to be recognized for high achievements. In the fourth quarter 2010, customer L’Oréal won two manufacturing excellence awards, directly attributable to the company’s implementation of FlexNet as a global platform for manufacturing operations management. L’Oréal, the world’s leading cosmetics company, earned both the Organizer’s Strategic Manufacturing Award as well as the Operational Excellence Award at the 6th Annual European Manufacturing Strategies Summit, held October 20, 2010 in Swissôtel Düsseldorf, Germany.
