(openPR) - McKool Smith is proud to announce the promotion of 11 attorneys to principals in the firm’s Austin, Dallas and New York offices.

In Austin, firm attorneys John Campbell, John Garvish, John Shumaker and Victoria Wicken have been named as principals. All four regularly represent clients in intellectual property litigation and commercial litigation.

McKool Smith’s new Dallas principals, all of whom also practice in intellectual property litigation and commercial litigation, are Jason Blackstone, Brad Caldwell, Scott Hejny and Luke McLeroy.

In New York, intellectual property litigator Brett Cooper has been promoted to principal along with Rick Halper and Kyle Lonergan, both of whom represent clients in white collar matters and commercial litigation.

"Our new principals are leaders who have demonstrated outstanding service to our clients and the firm," said Co-founder and Chairman Mike McKool. "These promotions, across disciplines and geographies, are a sign of the firm's growth and our ongoing commitment to offering clients the best legal talent."
