International Business Executive Peter Ruof joins Stories of Faith Advisory Board

(openPR) - Dublin, 08 February 2007 (sof) Peter Ruof, international business executive and co-founder of CDS International, New York (Carl Duisberg Society) and of the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) Brussels, will serve as a member of the Stories of Faith Advisory Board. The patron of the media project is the Dalai Lama. Stories of Faith goes out to open the eyes of mainly young people for the major cultural values of other peoples and is designed as a multi-platform project. Five films will be produced for distribution in large-format (IMAX®) theaters. Peter Ruof acknowledged that the initiators and producers Wolfram R. Bauer and Carola Klessen will make a “contribution to world culture which goes beyond film making“ and he states that the initiative is an “important contribution to transnational educational policy within the context of globalization.“.

Peter Ruof has more than 40 years expertise in corporate finance and in project finance. His international experience includes the Commission of the European Union, Brussels, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington, the Ford Foundation in New York, advisor to the Rockefeller Foundation, the Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans and to the Reagan White House on international educational exchanges. He has also been active as investment banker in the US, Europe, Russia and PRChina and is Chairman of Blackwood Capital Group LLC, New York, London and Zuerich and is a member of the Board of Directors of European and US corporations.

Among the members of the Advisory Board to Stories of Faith Ltd. (stories-of-faith.com) are Dr. William F. Vendley (General Secretary of the World Conference on Religion and Peace, WCRP, New York), Prof. Dr. Karl-Joseph Kuschel (World Ethics Foundation, Tuebingen) for Christianity and Prof. Dr. Bassam Tibi, (Cornell University, New York) for Islam.
