| Pressemitteilung von: IT Process Maps GbR | ||
A fresh approach to implementing ITIL: IT Process Maps GbR, the provider of IT process know how in easily accesible formats, presents its new version of the ITIL Process Map V3 for Microsoft Visio(TM) 2010 with a number of substantial improvements. The ITIL® Process Map is a 'translation' of ITIL into legible, easy to read process maps in Visio and other process management platforms. This has been widely accepted with many large – and small – organizations, using the ITIL Process Map to implement ITIL faster and at lower cost, with less reliance on expensive consultants. The ITIL Process Map V3 is 100% compatible with IITL V3 and ISO 20000. Our ITIL process and document templates cover the complete ITIL V3 Service Lifecycle: - Service Strategy - Service Design - Service Transition - Service Operation and - Continual Service Improvement. The ITIL® Process Map for Visio 2010 offers modernized shapes and new features which now make the ITIL Reference Model an even better tool for you to design and document your ITIL processes: The latest version of the ITIL Process Map for Visio uses the new "Container Shapes" as swim lanes. This makes it a lot easier for you to insert and modify swim lanes in the BPMN process diagrams. The newly introduced Status data fields allow you, for example, to grey out processes which are not yet operational – a very helpful feature if you introduce ITIL processes one after another. And last but not least Visio 2010 offers better integration with Microsoft SharePoint(TM). As in the previous version, the ITIL Process Map V3 for Visio includes a special Visio Add-In and an an Excel Repository to store central object information. This makes your task of adapting the processes to your organization and managing your ITIL process documentation considerably easier. The Repository removes some of the shortcomings which are associated with using Microsoft Visio as a tool for managing business processes. In fact IT Process Maps added an Object Repository to Visio, a feature which is normally associated with dedicated - and more expensive - Process Management platforms. The Visio process model is still fully compatible with Visio 2003 and 2007. Some of the new features, however, will only be available for users of Visio 2010.
