Both cameras give a very good video performance at the highest resolution. Very good lighting conditions can be reached, even under poor visibility conditions with a fixed focal length of f4.6 mm and a wide aperture lens of F1.9.
A CCD sensor of the latest generation is used offering a resolution of 768 x 494 Pixel NTSC / 752 x 582 Pixel PAL. The H.264 compression format offers a smoother picture with reduced network load at the same time.

Video data can be saved directly to a USB stick via an USB connection. By connecting a wireless LAN stick to a Ralink chip set (DIGITUS® DN-7044) the camera can be use as a wireless LAN camera.
