CENTA today announced it has been awarded the Bronze Level Supplier Quality Excellence Process certification from Caterpillar Inc. The award was presented to CENTA in recognition of its commitment to providing the highest levels of products, quality and service to its customers at Caterpillar.
This certification recognises strong values and ethical principles in conducting business. Additionally, it highlights commitment to collaborate with Caterpillar’s objective to implement a culture for “zero-defects” across their supplier base. The Bronze Award 2009 plaque – presented at CENTA Corporation’s Aurora, IL USA office by three representatives of Caterpillar’s Global Purchasing Division – reads: “Through demonstrated results, this supplier has exhibited excellent process control, has shown a desire for ongoing continuous improvement, and has provided quality product to their Caterpillar customers.” The award was presented to the management team of CENTA Corporation on behalf of the global CENTA organisation and their supply of driveline couplings to Caterpillar facilities around the world.
