Intakt-Reisen achieves ISO 9001 certification

Berlin, 26 March 2010 – Intakt-Reisen, a subsidiary of Intakt Internet Services GmbH & Co. KG, has been certified to ISO 9001:2008 by DQS GmbH (Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Zertifizierung von Managementsystemen). Intakt-Reisen specialises in organising active travels and nature holidays as well as sustainable tourism. The certification was based on the verification of customer orientation, efficiency of processes towards tour operators and the handling of complaints.
Dr. Toralf Kahlert, CEO of Intakt Internet Services explains: “As an internet travel agency we have always been prided ourselves on providing the best possible quality of service. To support our own commitment to quality we decided to modify our processes to the requirements of ISO 9001 in the early days of our business. Since that time we have extended our range of products to meet the expectations of even our most demanding customers.”
Although there is only a small number of certified organisations in tourism industry, Intakt Internet Services and Intakt-Reisen decided to go through the process of certification. However, the certification is no reason to rest on its laurels: During the next years Intakt will continuously strive to improve the quality of its services to become a leader among German internet travel agencies.
