Jumping Bytes releases Mobile Master 6.5
Munich, September 27, 2006 – Jumping Bytes, specialist for mobile phone administration and SMS communication, has announced the release of Mobile Master 6.5. With this version, Mobile Master can, for the first time, provide support for Motorola handsets, including the models RAZR V3, V3i, V3r and SLVR L7 and the stylish LG KG800 chocolate. This means that Motorola users can now easily synchronize contacts and calendar entries between a handset and the respective computer-based e-mail client or contact management program. Mobile Master is also completely up to date when it comes to the mobile phone market. Newly added are the models K800i, K510i, K610i, W300i, Z550i from Sony Ericsson, the SGH-P300, SGH-X670, SGH-E370, X820 and E900 from Samsung and the E61 and EL71 from BenQ Siemens.
The list of supported contact programs is, in the meantime, considerable and is being further expanded with this version. Aside from Outlook, Lotus Notes, Palm Desktop, Thunderbird, Tobit David, Eudora, The Bat and Outlook Express, the communication and teamwork solution Novell Groupwise is also now featured: Contacts can be synchronized with all the filter possibilities that Mobile Master offers; the alignment of calendar data is planned for this fall. Moreover, this version of Mobile Master can support the brand-new iTunes 7 with the simple copying of iTunes play lists to the handset.
“The link-up to Motorola handsets and Novell Groupwise is a direct reaction to the steadily increasing inquiries of our customers,” according to Managing Director Christoph Güntner. “Only through intensive contact to our customers has it become possible for us to further develop Mobile Master to meet the needs of our clientele.”
With the 6.5 version, Jumping Bytes has, in addition, implemented many detailed improvements: During address-book synchronization, entry deletion request has been made more user-friendly; directory trees can also be copied, and the display of the synchronization history (snyc-log) has been improved.
Mobile Master 6.5 (approx. 10 MB) can be downloaded at www.mobile-master.eu/download/down.html. The 30-day test version is a full version with one limitation: it can load a maximum of 20 phone book entries from PC to mobile phone.
Mobile Master can be purchased online in light (€ 9.90), standard (€ 17.90) or professional versions (€ 25.90). Differences in functionality between the various versions are described under www.mobile-master.eu/bestellen/orderonline.html. Customers are entitled to free updates for 1 year. The program itself, as well as the help file, is available in German, English, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch.
