This brings Robert’s Emmys to a total of 7. Robert was honored with a commendation from the City of Los Angeles and an Emmy in 2002 for a PSA (Public Service Announcement) campaign. He also was honored with a World medal at the New York Film Festival, a National Telly Winner in 1999 and the International Aurora Award in 1999. He received an Emmy for Best Director in 1997 for segments he produced and directed. This was the second year in a row in which he received this honor. Robert had won the Emmy for Best Director 1996 for segments he had produced and directed. To date, Robert has directed and produced television commercials, music videos, and multi camera television sports programs. He has produced and directed over 120 episodes for the international and national extreme “MTV” style sports and lifestyle national syndicated show “Sports Rap” which earned him 3 Emmy nominations. In 2002, he made his theatrical debut with a short film” Code Blue” screening at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2005 he had received his last two Emmys: one for a PSA and another for "Best Director." His latest documentary "Prescription:Suicide?" is a film about the effects of the use of antidepressants by teenagers which won a "Spirit of Independents" award at the Ft Lauderdale International Film Festival.
