Timely Medical Innovations, LLC (TMI), a global provider of personal protection equipment (PPE) for infection control, will introduce its latest product, FlipEaseTM eye shield, at the MEDICA World Forum for Medicine and International Trade in Dusseldorf, Germany, November 18-21, 2009. FlipEaseTM is the only pre-assembled, disposable eye shield that is completely flat for compact storage and with a lens that flips into place when ready for use.

“FlipEaseTM is another example of TMI’s history of innovative design for low-cost medical disposables,” says Michael Grad, CEO of TMI. “Our goal was to create a lightweight, comfortable, disposable product that had the smallest footprint possible. This ensured that the product could be stored at its point-of-need, thereby maximizing its use in protecting healthcare professionals from H1N1/Swine Flu and other infectious diseases.”

TMI is widely known in global healthcare for its market-leading Resposables™ for eye and face protection.

“We chose to formally introduce FlipEaseTM at MEDICA because the event offers a global platform for reaching the broader healthcare market,” said Grad. “We also look forward to meeting potential distributors at MEDICA since the event is a crucial gateway to markets that require better and more economical PPE solutions such as FlipEaseTM.

MEDICA is considered the premier medical event for viewing the world’s latest innovations in medical products and technologies. TMI will be exhibiting in Hall 16, C 04, of the USA CEO Center represented by the United States Department of Commerce.

Since 1991 TMI has been providing disposable, personal protection products to help healthcare organizations comply with regulatory standards for infection control. Our focus on product innovation has yielded a line of low-cost, lightweight, comfortable eye and face protection products that have proven to be the preferred choice among healthcare professionals worldwide. As attention to personal protection and health safety grows, TMI will continue to be a market leader in low-cost, disposable personal protection products.
