Keyaki Re-opens |
| Pressemitteilung von: Pan Pacific Singapore |
| (openPR) - A brand new classic look is unveiled as Keyaki Japanese restaurant at Pan Pacific Singapore re-opens to food aficionados. Since 1987, Keyaki has been renowned for exquisite authentic cuisine served within a charming, welcoming ambience that has withstood the test of time. In true tradition of exclusive Japanese private homes, Keyaki will still be ensconced within the timeless rooftop garden where aesthetical features like bamboo plants, stone, koi and water represent the balance in nature. Guests enjoy a calming stroll along a covered walkway through the garden before crossing a graceful Japanese bridge over a koi pond, representing the journey towards the rich culinary experience that awaits. The sound of the cascading waterfall and sight of the lively koi that precedes the entrance to Keyaki are intended to further add to the sense of peace, embodying nature’s melody. Built from highly-prized Keyaki wood (known for its resilience and strength) from which it is named, Keyaki’s interior frame is created using a traditional Japanese architectural system of building without nails – a highly-prized construction feature which will be a key feature in the refurbishment exercise. An artful blend of dark wood, soft lighting and welcoming, attentive service will create the setting of a traditional Japanese home similar to an inakaya (meaning country home) where guests can anticipate an experience akin to luxurious Japanese dinner parties held at home. Authentic Japanese cuisine styles will be available via dedicated spaces for teppanyaki, sushi and sashimi where guests can enjoy attractive displays of fresh imported ingredients from Japan and the theatric-style service with chefs preparing dishes on the spot. Diners who crave privacy can request for intimate tatami rooms, historically a privilege for only Japanese nobility and samurai before the 16th century. Additional introductions to the design scheme include a cosy Sake bar, ideal as a pre-and post-prandial venue or for guests who are seeking premium Sake amidst a lush setting. With understated and elegant design elements, the overall feel will be simply distinctly Japanese. Says hotel General Manager Ivan Lee, “In this economic climate, it is essential for businesses to continue enhancing their products and services to improve the overall experience for guests. For food and beverage, our focus is on quality cuisine and service and an inviting setting for guests to enjoy. Keyaki has been renowned for providing luxurious ‘home-style’ culinary experiences for over 20 years and this unique quality will be immaculately preserved through the refurbishment.” Information Address: Pan Pacific Singapore (Level 4), 7 Raffles Boulevard, Singapore 039595 Opening Hours: Daily from 12 noon to 2.30pm and 6.30pm to 10pm Telephone number: (65) 6826 8240 Email: celebrate.sin@panpacific.com Seating capacity: 142 - END - About Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts Headquartered in Singapore, Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts is a leading brand in Asia and the Pacific Rim and is part of Pan Pacific Hotels Group.
